Since Ryan got a new job and is making more money, we decided we would allow ourselves one luxury item.
So we got this!

We have both wanted one of these for sometime now. I have never really liked the idea of video games in our house - I don't want lazy kids who just want to play video games all day. Ryan grew up playing video games, but we weren't allowed to play in our house. In fact I had never played a video game until recently. One thing that I LOOOOVE about the Wii is that the games are ALL interactive. Its not a sit-on-you-butt-and-rot-your-mind-all-day system, you have to get off your duff (yes I did just say "duff") and move around. The other thing that I LOVE about the Wii is that you don't have to be a gamer to play. Like I said, we didn't have video games growing up, so I never played them. But you don't have to know anything about video games to play a Wii. I kicked Ryan's trash the first time we played Wii Golf (I have never golfed before either...haha) Its really fun! (This is the end of my endorsement of the Wii)
This is the first weekend we've had it, so we invited our good friends the Sucher's and the Knudsen's over to play. I didn't get many pictures, but this is a good one of Ryan & Sean Wii boxing (which by the way is QUITE a workout).

We also have a GREAT video of Brooke beating Marc in boxing, but I still need to figure out how to put that on the blog, once I do, I'll post it for your enjoyment!
